Nilesh Shah is the Chief Executive Officer of Artemyn, where he is spearheading the company’s strategic transformation from a traditional industrial minerals business into a dynamic, global enterprise focused on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric growth. With over 25 years of professional experience and more than a decade in C-suite roles, Nilesh has successfully led complex organizations across multiple industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution of consumer products, logistics and transportation, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies and equipment. His leadership has consistently driven operational excellence, financial discipline, and strategic growth in diverse business environments. At Artemyn, Nilesh is leading the company’s expansion beyond its legacy in paper and board, unlocking new opportunities in high-potential sectors such as paints, ceramics, fiberglass, cement, agriculture, and water treatment. He has established a clear and ambitious roadmap, aligned global teams under a unified culture, and laid a strong foundation for long-term, profitable growth. Nilesh is a Chartered Accountant (India), a Certified Public Accountant (USA), and an alumnus of Columbia Business School’s Executive Education in Business Management. Renowned for his integrity, collaborative leadership style, and customer-first mindset, Nilesh is deeply committed to building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and delivering lasting value to Artemyn’s customers, employees, and global stakeholders.

Julien is French, holds 25 years of experience out of which 13 years in South America and 5 years in Asia During his 15+ years for Imerys, Julien has always worked in the perimeter which is today the one of Artemyn, in Kaolin, at Capim, and Carbonates, at Sao Paulo, Singapore or Paris at Regional or Global levels. Julien strongly believes that Artemyn’s experienced and committed teams as well as its global footprint are unique assets to seize opportunities and foster its development.

With more than 25 years of experience in global companies, Marcia is experienced in developing and implementing Human Resources strategies aligned with business growth and organizational development. Led transformation projects and acquisitions, while driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. Strong focus on talent development, engagement, and retention to support sustainable business success.
Pierre François

Pierre François

Vice President for Operations

Pierre has been involved in industrial and operational functions in different countries and environments during his career. He is now focusing on the Kaolin business of Artemyn in Brazil. Pierre spent over 10 years with the responsibilities of the lime business in Brazil. He was also involved in a new plant technical start up and sales ramp up. Following this mission, he also held the industrial Director position of the Carbonates division in Brazil. Then he focused on the Environmental, Health and Safety functions for Europe. Also, he spent over 20 years in the cement industry holding different positions in the Industrial function in France, but also in Brazil, USA and Canada. On a more personal note, he was raised in Paris but he holds a Brazilian passport for being born in this great country when his parents were expatriates for a few years.
Hajer Bergaoui

Hajer Bergaoui

Vice President for IT

An Engineer with 17 years of deep-rooted experience in Information systems and Technology, Hajer currently serves as VP of IT, leading the group’s global IT organization. Throughout her career, she has held diverse leadership roles, specializing in digital transformation and the complexities of M&A integrations. Known for her "multi-hat" approach, she acts as a strategic business partner who bridges the gap between technology and business process efficiency. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in teamwork, leading by example, and maintaining a healthy ecosystem balance across all stakeholders.. For 2026, her strategic roadmap is focused on stabilizing the global IT ecosystem, reinforcing cybersecurity, and delivering high-value projects to accelerate Artemyn’s growth. Originally from Tunisia and French for more than 15 years, she is a nature enthusiast who loves simplicity, travel, music and cultural discovery. She is the proud mother of two energetic boys who are the heart of her life outside the office.

Vice President for Innovation & Marketing

Chris Nutbeem, Vice President of Artemyn’s Global Technology and Marketing Organisation, is based at the company's primary technology centre in the South West of England. With over 35 years of experience in the innovation and development of industrial minerals, Chris is a seasoned expert in the field. As the leader of innovation and marketing at Artemyn, Chris champions a collaborative approach, engaging closely with both industry partners and customers in the development process. For Chris, innovation at Artemyn is more than just product creation—it's a fundamental mindset. This involves constantly redefining how Artemyn delivers value and support to customers, with a focus on progress and long-term sustainability. This commitment to innovation extends to both the solutions Artemyn develops and the way the company interacts with its customers. Chris drives a culture of responsiveness, collaboration, and rapid decision-making in customer engagement.
Mario Sexias

Mario Sexias

Vice President for Americas

Mario is from Brazil and holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry from Universidade São Paulo, and an MBA from the University of Toronto. Over the past 30 years, he has held various management roles and worked in several different industries. He began his career on Specialty Polymers and later with Minerals for Paper, Paints and Polymers. During this period, he held leadership roles in Operations, Shared Services, Sales, Marketing and General Management, working in South America, Europe and the USA. In Artemyn his ambition is to lead a motivated team that ensures Artmeyn remains the supplier of choice for the Paper & Board customers, and that solidifies Artemyn as an inventive, flexible and customer oriented supplier for many other growth markets.
Mikael Breitenstein

Mikael Breitenstein

Vice President for EMEA

Mikael, a Finnish national, holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Åbo Akademi University. He is a seasoned sales professional with over 30 years of experience, spanning Key Account Management to Global Sales and Marketing Management. For his entire career Mikael has served the Paper, Board, and Pulp industry. He joined Artemyn as Vice President of Global Sales before stepping into his current role as General Manager and Vice President of EMEA in January 2025. Mikael aims to solidify Artemyn’s market leadership and establish the company as the premier choice for high-performance mineral solutions.
Peter Wheeler

Peter Wheeler

Vice President for APAC

Peter Wheeler serves as the Vice President for Asia at Artemyn, a role he assumed in August 2025. Based in Singapore, Peter oversees the company’s regional growth and operational strategy, drawing on decades of experience in the specialty chemicals and industrial sectors. Before joining Artemyn, he spent more than 20 years in the Specialty Chemicals sector, most recently as Country Manager for South Asia and the General Manager of Operations for Asia. His expertise spans the entire product lifecycle, from R&D and Technical Marketing to Manufacturing and Supply Chain Optimization. He is passionate about Commercial Excellence and delivering value to clients in measurable and meaningful ways. Beyond financial performance, Peter is a dedicated advocate for Safety Culture and Organizational Health, striving to create the right Safety Culture throughout the organization. Peter holds a Masters Degree in Chemistry, Masters Degree in Business Leadership and a Bachelor of Technology in Pulp and Paper.
