Focused on sustainability, the new global company Artemyn, leading minerals transformation company for industry solutions, has made efforts to understand and meet the needs of communities surrounding its operations in Ipixuna do Pará, State of Pará, Brazil.

In order to support the basic needs of the communities in Ipixuna, the company provides drinking water in sufficient volume to meet the daily demand of families in the Cajueiro community. It also provides electricity, improving the quality of life of 260 people in a remote area, benefiting the communities of Santa Maria do Bacuri, Santo Antônio, and Cajueiro.

Recently, with the end of the rainy season, the company began a process of restoring traffic conditions, signaling, and corrections to the drainage system on the stretch of dirt road between the company and the city of Tomé-açu. The company also restored three wooden bridges, ensuring they are in perfect condition for use by the communities.

In August, work began on improving internal roads in the communities of Cajueiro, Bacuri, and Vila Aparecida. These works are positive responses to requests made during regular dialogues between the company and neighboring communities.

Also focused on improving the quality of life of the population, health diagnostics will soon begin, benefiting 10 communities.
